Lacrosse Stretches

If you want to improve your son's flexibility (i.e. ability to win ground balls) and hopefully prevent potential lacrosse injuries (i.e. pulled hamstring), you should encourage him to stretch before & after lacrosse practice. This important routine is often semi-ignored with young kids as lacrosse coaches are rushing to work on stick & field skills due to limited practice time. The stretching sections below show a wide variety of basic stretches that are useful for lacrosse beginners. You will want to focus on calf stretches, hamstring stretches, quad stretches, groin stretches, etc.
